CARPE DIEM – seize the day (in Latin)
Somehow things always sound more important and official in Latin – I don’t know why they just do.

IF NOT NOW – WHEN?
I always use this to get my motor going when I have a job or situation I really don’t want to tackle.

Show me a person who has never made a mistake and I’ll show you someone who has never achieved much.” Joan Collins
I love this because it is so true. Mistakes are necessary to living and growing. You can’t live without mistakes. Anyway, how boring that would be.

“There are no secrets to success. It is the result of preparation, hard work and learning from failure.”
Colin Powell
Preparation and hard work is the easy part. But, how many of you repeat the same mistakes over and over again and never learn?

“Forget past mistakes. Forget failures. Forget everything except what you’re going to do now and do it.”

William Durant, founder of General Motors
I really think if you feel overwhelmed, break the job or situation down to the smallest piece you can and just do that for today. Then another for tomorrow and then the next day and before you know it you will have achieved your goal.

Look back on yesterday's regrets or sorrows and they will live with you tomorrow.  author unknown

Be thankful for what you have.  If you concentrate on what you don't have, you will never, ever have enough.  Oprah Winfrey

Saint Paul said, "The one thing I do, however, is to forget what is behind me and do my best to reach what is ahead."

What Can I Do Today to Make My Life Better?

Don't try to be like someone else, that position is already taken, just be the best you can be and that's enough!

Take My Vitamins

And last but not least:
Watch what you eat and LOSE WEIGHT!!!!!
My constant battle cry since I was fourteen years old.

Life is 10% what happens to us and 90% how we react to it.  Let's change the 90%
